Threadless jewellery works completely differently: the decorative top has a thin pin extending from its base, and that pin has a slight bend in it. When you push the pin into the hollow post, the bend creates gentle tension against the inside wall of the post, holding the top securely in place through friction — not threads.
This is why it's sometimes called "push-pin" or "press-fit" jewellery. There's nothing to screw, nothing to cross-thread, and nothing to accidentally unscrew during the day.

Removal is the reverse of insertion: grip the decorative top firmly and pull straight out, in line with the post. Don't twist or wiggle side to side — pulling at an angle is one of the most common ways people accidentally bend the pin out of shape.
